Lia offers a range of training options for professionals involved in the access arrangements process, including assessors, assessors-in-training, SENCos and Access Arrangements Coordinators.
Events are run through Castiglione Consulting as well as in conjunction with professional teacher organisations and educational training providers.
Courses cover all aspects of access arrangements, standardised assessment and test materials.
Training is provided through pre-recorded online courses, live online webinars and in-person face-to-face training. Flexible and tailored options are available to meet the needs of the client.

Lia is developing an exciting new course leading to a qualification in access arrangements coordination. Aimed at SENCos and Access Arrangements Coordinators who are new to the role or wish to gain greater understanding and confidence in managing the access arrangements process within a centre.
The course will provide a comprehensive grounding in access arrangements, including:
The principles underlying access arrangements and the range of arrangements available
Which learners may be eligible for access arrangements and the evidence requirements
Gathering evidence of need, making applications and keeping records
